VPN for Android

Install the official APK
Open the Android download page on your phone, tap Download APK, and allow your browser to install packages when prompted.
If your device blocks unknown sources, enable the permission for that browser or file app only, install GhostMesh, then disable the permission again if you prefer a stricter setup.
Background restrictions and VPN stability
Some manufacturers pause VPN apps aggressively to save battery. If disconnects happen when the screen is off, add GhostMesh to the battery optimization allowlist and disable restrictions for “background activity” where the OS allows it.
Keeping the app updated matters: newer builds include fixes for reconnects and Android 13+ foreground service rules.
